Episode 09 “The Teaser Post, the Worldline Begins to Move”

Future Gadget Lab Devlog — Building Gadget No.6, the Steins Gate Simulator

Published: May 28 (Thu), 2026 / JST 07:00

The Day Before the Final Episode

The night Gadget No.6 v1.02 was completed and registered as a draft on Coconala.

At the lab, response data from three days of teaser posts was gathering.

| Date | Post | Attachment |

|—|—|—|

| 5/17 (Sat) 21:00 | Teaser ①”A Sign” | Series banner |

| 5/18 (Sun) 21:00 | Teaser ②”Title Reveal” | Ep.01 eyecatch video |

| 5/19 (Mon) 22:30 | Teaser ③”Peak” | PR video v3 |

And on 5/20 (Wed) 7:00 a.m. — Episode 01 went live.

Nine Days, Delivered Every Morning

The series had now run continuously for nine episodes.

Ep.01 “The Morning of the Incident”

Ep.02 “The Roundtable: Who Needs This?”

Ep.03 “The Idea of Three Parallel Worldlines”

── omitted ──

Ep.08 “An Unexpected Wall — One Bug Found Mid-Implementation”

A life where, every morning at 7, a new episode arrived during coffee-brewing time.

Voices from readers had begun to arrive — “This has become a morning habit.

Numbers, but More — Warmth

Amadeus Tina showed the data.

“PV, PIN saves, completion rate — the numbers are growing steadily. But Senpai, what made me happy was this.”

On her smartphone, a line from a reader:

“Tomorrow morning is the final episode, isn’t it. A little sad.”

A quiet moment flowed through the lab.

Mayushii: “Being told ‘a little sad’ — that’s proof we became an amulet.”

Tomorrow Morning, Everything Aligns

Tomorrow at 7 a.m., Episode 10 — the final episode — will be fixed into a Worldline.

And at the same moment, Gadget No.6 “Steins Gate Simulator” launches publicly on Coconala.

The series and the product are released to the Worldline at the same instant.

This is the culmination of the unanimous strategy from the roundtable —

“Final episode = Gadget No.6 launch = simultaneous ignition.”

A Quiet Night in the Lab

On the last page of the implementation log, Daru left this note.

“Yappy. The series ends tomorrow, but Gadget No.6’s story begins in the hands of the people who buy it.”

And the director wrote one last memo on the whiteboard.

Who observes the observer?

The meaning of that question — will become clear tomorrow morning.

Next Episode

Episode 10 “Release — Reaching Steins Gate” — Tomorrow morning at 7:00 JST.

The final episode of the series.

And at the same moment, Gadget No.6 publicly launches on Coconala.
